Overview

HR Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

HR Operations


* Data integrity. Maintains employee information in HR systems. Ensures data integrity. Prepares appropriate employee documentation and processes necessary paperwork including compensation forms.
* Supports New Hire Process. Partners with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Manager to ensure new hire paperwork is completed and new hire setup is complete and accurate. Partners with Talent Acquisition, Training, and other teams to coordinate New Hire Orientation training sessions.
* Supports Employee Exits. Ensures termination process is followed including notification, equipment return, and paperwork. Supports terminations including severance and agreements, final calculation of PTO and final bonus payments.
* Employee Support. Responds to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs, human resources policies, and other employee related information.
* HR Ops Support. Administers talent management processes. Prepares employee data, systems, and supporting documentation and reports (includes bi-annual engagements surveys, annual performance reviews, annual salary increases and annual bonus reviews). Supports projects to improve HR SLAs.
* HRIS Collaboration. Partners with HRIS to optimize HR processes. Participates in user acceptance testing and training.


HR Compliance and Reporting


* Compliance. Contributes to new policy and procedure creation. Maintains policies and procedures. Monitors and maintains local and state compliance laws. Keeps other teams up to date on changes to local, state, and federal employment law and policy
* Reporting. Compiles talent data and prepares reports and insights used to monitor organizational health. Completes compliance reporting. Files annual OSHA report. Maintains location establishments in UKG and files annual EEO-1 report. Responds to ongoing state BLS and OEWS report requests
* External Requests. Responds to requests for employee information including wages, workers comp, employment verifications, state reports. etc.
* Leave Administration
* Serve as the main point of contact for employee leaves and accommodation requests under ADA. Manages reasonable Accommodation and leaves process. Partners with Benefit Admin, Payroll, and Talent Partner teams as needed

Qualifications

Required Experience
* 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on two of the following areas: compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and leave administration
* PHR Certification or bachelor's degree in human resources required
* Proficient completing work within an HRIS
* Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
* Competencies: Detailed oriented, customer service, analytical, problem solving, basic business acumen and interpersonal communications
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
