Position Description

We're looking for a full-time, staff Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing team! You'll partner with hiring managers to find top talent for our diverse businesses, from staffing, construction & engineering to security & defense. Leveraging your recruiting expertise, you'll source candidates, manage the interview process, and help us build a workforce that reflects our "Build a Better You" culture.

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, here's the work you'll do:

  • Ensures open requisitions are filled in a timely manner by applying effective sourcing techniques and developing a pipeline of qualified candidates. Using various sourcing methodologies (headhunting, competitive intellegence, referrals, job boards, social media, etc), the Talent Acquisition Partner will proactively seek and evaluate the most qualified candidates (with a strong emphasis on diversity), to present to the hiring manager. Continually expands networking/sourcing resources and creates pipeline database of potential candidates.
  • Utilizes a consultative approach with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to assess future skill requirements and devises appropriate talent strategies. Develops business acumen to understand the needs and pain points, site specific culture, hiring process, compensation practice and approval processes associated with hiring.
  • The Talent Acquisition Partner will thoroughly screen (incorporating behavioral based interviewing techniques) each candidate and provide details with recommendations to be presented to the hiring manager. The Talent Acquisition Partner will facilitate the interview process by scheduling and gathering interview feedback within a timely manner to accentuate the candidate experience. Effectively communicates with candidates and customers to maintain relationships and build knowledge of needs and opportunities.
  • Responsible for posting, updating and closing requisitions in a timely manner using the Company's applicant tracking system. Completes and sends offer letters utilizing approved templates and following approval matrix. Ensures legal compliance with federal hiring regulations in regard to all talent acquisition initiatives and related programs. This role is for you if you have these skills:
  • Expertise in full life-cycle recruiting with the understanding of talent acquisition, workforce planning, process development and its impact on overall business strategy.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting/staffing policies and procedures and compliance regulations and ability to apply policies, procedures and regulations appropriately.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a high-stress, rapid paced environment. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage own performance, and that of fellow team members. Effectively plans and organizes time and priorities to achieve business results
  • Effective communication, organizational, written, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite andapplicant tracking systems.
And if you have these qualifications:
  • Bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years
  • Recruiting certifications or SHRM CP/PHR certifications (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Bullhorn and other relevant ATS applications.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $66,160 - $99,240 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
