What You'll Do
This position is responsible for processing weekly, monthly, and quarterly fees as well as the preparation of grant and contribution reconciliation.
Position requires a hybrid work model with three days in-office per week. Salary range: $52,000 - $55,000.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and process fees to Donor-Advised Fund accounts as directed.
  • Prepare monthly contributions and grants reconciliations for various programs/entities.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of accounting transactions, operational performance, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with general ledger journal entries on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required.
  • Assist with monthly closing.
  • Ensure adherence to the monthly closing schedule and deliverables as outlined.
  • Participating in the annual audit process, ensuring auditors are provided with appropriate documents, answering any questions necessary for auditors to perform their function.
  • Assist other departments as needed regarding fees to Donor-Advised Funds, financial reporting, and business performance.
  • Assist with special projects.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or equivalent experience
  • 1-year of relevant experience in finance or accounting
  • Working knowledge of various financial accounting software packages
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability for attention to detail, to analyze problematic situations and to prioritize projects
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be highly skilled in use of Excel
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to function independently as well as in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
