The Financial Analyst - Global FP&A will support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leaders with global analysis for a $3B global industrial water business. In this role, you will support analytics, monthly closing, reporting, and drive departmental efficiencies through maintaining reference datasets. This role will also assist the HQ team with managing Insurance deliverables and tying out financials. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost structure analysis files summarizing costs by main categories for all lines of business.

  • Month-end analysis to help understand performance drivers and underlying trends used to provide operational performance commentary for leadership.

  • Developing efficiencies and process improvements within the team's work streams, including maintaining reference finance datasets & finance master data.

  • Help prepare and maintain FP&A calendars (internal & external), coordinating with Controllership on deadlines & due dates

  • Assist FP&A Senior Manager with annual budget process, moth-end close P&L consolidation, and monthly management reporting.

Hard Skills

  • Proficiency in excel

  • Understanding of the three financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows) and the relationship between them

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables with competing deadlines.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

  • 3 - 4 years of experience in finance or accounting

  • Experience with BI/reporting tools

  • Demonstrated growth in professional experience

  • Strong Excel experience- pivot tables, manipulating large amounts of data, etc.

Preferred

  • Preferred global experience

  • SAP experience

Working Conditions

  • No annual travel required.
