AITC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist - Intermediate to provide configuration management functional support for the network enterprise.

* Provide configuration management functional support to continue standardized planning, design, implementation, installation, O&M, and documentation of Communications and Information Technology (C&IT) systems.

* Create and update drawings of all information systems circuits, lines, and systems in the Government's CAD program.

* Maintain a web-based information database composed of complex maps, cable/fiber configurations, digital and hard copy sketches, diagrams, drawings, photographs, databases, and tables configured in a database management system. The program facilitates centralized management of all data and records associated with information systems installations architectures.

* Additional duties as assigned.

* Requires 4-6 years of practical field experience performing aforementioned responsibilities/duties

* Associate degree in a related field

* ITIL Foundations within 6 months.

* SECRET Clearance

* Must be a US citizen.

* Able to work Overtime as required.

* Must be available to travel as required.

* One of the following:

o A+ CE

o CCNA-Security

o CND

o Network+ CE

o SSCP

* Demonstrated experience:

o Supporting configuration management of military communications systems.

o Supporting configuration management planning; describing provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.

o Ability to support configuration planning and maintaining configuration change control.

o Familiarity with CM aspects of the Department of Defense (DOD) acquisition processes for systems, software, and hardware under the DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF).

o Configuration management standards.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations

* Trained in the use of the Government CAD software system

* Ability to utilize Global Positioning System (GPS) SW, equipment, plotters, and scanners; follow circuit paths, circuit diagrams, schematic cable, fiber runs, northing, easting and elevation in geospatial format for engineering drawings; identify circuit components; and document all Data types as prescribed by the COR

* Predominantly indoors in normal office environment

* Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach

* Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English

* May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time

* Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions

* Must have visual acuity

* Must be able to lift up-to 10 pounds
