Hourly Wage: $17.84 DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To produce accurate and timely print and online documentation that will assist Product Support Technicians and customers with the ordering of replacement parts and the troubleshooting of products

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Perform document content research and multi-task with Technical Illustrators, Engineers, Product Management and Technical Service

*Compile and maintain electronic and mechanical information for use in Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), trouble-shooting guides, and any other documentation that is necessary for the technical and operational support of our products and component parts

*Assist in creating order forms using Adobe InDesign

*Create Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to create or revise Order Forms and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs) in Agile Project Management

*Participate in Bill of Materials (BOMs) verification breakdowns

*Collaborate with Engineers, Product Management, Technical Service, and Manufacturing Engineering as needed

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Use hand tools and standard power tools

*Read and comprehend work instructions and BOMs

*Identify mechanical and electrical parts, and hardware

Must have:

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Excellent web navigation skills

*Basic mathematical skills

*Excellent organizational skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

*Basic working knowledge of Adobe Desktop Publishing Software

*Basic understanding of electro-mechanical schematics preferred

*Basic familiarity with SolidWorks 3D geometry renderings preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 1 year of experience in technical writing or a technical service role

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

* At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a technical service role experience preferred

*At least 1 year of Graphic Design or Desktop Publishing and Layout experience preferred

*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED EDUCATION

*Associate Degree in Graphic Design or Technical Writing related field preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
