Job Description

Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for an Associate Director, Commercial Analytics in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role, you be responsible for providing analytics and reporting support to key stakeholders in the Commercial organization, focusing on Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access. This role requires a deep understanding of product commercialization and how to connect operations to revenue-generating activities, as well as a thorough knowledge of the patient journey from referral creation at the patient hub to the ultimate dispensing and refill processes at the specialty pharmacy. This role also requires the ability to conduct advanced analyses independently, implement reporting in dashboards, refine existing processes, and champion system education to enable Commercial teams to maximize their data intelligence and drive strategic decision making.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analytics and reporting
    1. Support Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access excellence by providing analytics and reporting to enable Commercial leadership to manage effectively.
    2. Present insights to the Commercial leadership team to foster discussion that effectively drives team understanding of key activities and facilitates data driven decision making.
    3. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Commercial organization to gain insights into the health of the organization and opportunities for improvement.
    4. Partner with analytics vendors to produce new and creative reporting solutions within the business intelligence applications that will become part of core reporting deliverables.
    5. Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with the HUB and SPs.
  • Subject matter expertise in HUB and SP data
    1. Develop best practices within Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access analytics to maximize data insights and assist in driving Commercial excellence and execution.
    2. Partner with other Commercial teams as needed to provide expertise on data (e.g., Incentive Compensation administration).
  • Data quality enhancement
    1. Develop processes to ensure the highest data quality from vendors and identify opportunities to enhance data quality when possible.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial analytics functions with deep exposure to data warehousing and systematizing data operations
  • Thorough knowledge of the rare disease patient journey, including market access, specialty pharmacy and closed distribution networks, as well as HUB services
  • Proven ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis while translating the results into easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations.
  • Excellent experience with business intelligence solutions and application development
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint required


Physical demands and work environment:

  • Domestic travel is estimated to be 10% of the time for this position.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.
  • Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.
  • Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
