Job Description

Carnegie Mellon University's department of Athletics is searching for a part-time Goalkeeper Coach for the Men's Soccer team. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of the NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports program.

This position is part-time from August 15, 2024-November 30, 2024 and March 1, 2025-April 30, 2025.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating competency in sport skill instruction, motivation and ability to work under the direction of the head coach

  • Recruit potential student athletes under the direction of the head coach via phone, email, or personal contact

  • Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes

  • Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior pursuing sport programs goals as set by the head coach

  • Leadership and professional behavior with dealing with student-athletes

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 1-3 years athletic coaching experience required

Requirements:

  • Successful Background Check

  • OSHA on the job Hazardous Materials Safety Training

  • Child Protection Clearances
