Earn $20.20/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

The Psychiatric Technician III position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all residents in the Specialized LTSR program including mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out resident's treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities. Facilitate psychotherapy groups to enhance positive peer interaction, develop problem solving skills, and assist individuals in following their treatment goals.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or related human service field
  • 2 years of paid and unpaid work experience in behavioral health, forensic, sexual offending behaviors or residential services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • All Clearances required by OMHSAS
