JOB SUMMARY:

In this exciting hands-on role, you will manage the planning, scheduling, sourcing, and procurement, of all materials required to support production. This involves supervising and overseeing a team dedicated to supply management practices such as vendor selection, commercial negotiations, material planning and supplier management. The manager is also responsible for overseeing the securing all non-inventoried materials and services necessary to support company activities.

PRIMARY DUTIES (5-7 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

* Manage the material planning, procurement, and scheduling of materials

* Supervising and overseeing vendor selection, price negotiations, material planning, supplier management and production scheduling activities

* Securing all non-inventoried materials and services

* Ensuring compliance of department to all site quality standards

* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Advanced systems experience utilizing MRP and Purchasing ERP programs

* Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access experience

* Ability to network and deal with vendors and suppliers

* Strong leadership abilities

* Analytical skills and the ability to proficiently plan and organize functions.

* Supervision experience in a purchasing or supply chain management environment

* Experience in an ISO/IATF Certified Manufacturing Environment

* Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree in business management, material management, logistics, or supply chain

* Minimum 5 years' experience in supply management
