Position Overview:
As an Adult Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating and overseeing all resources, providing vital support to consumers and their families. If the consumer is a child, you will ensure seamless access to appropriate mental health services, catering to their specific needs and preferences. Our approach emphasizes identifying individual strengths and needs, facilitating access to resources, and fostering stability within the community environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor resources for individuals, including direct assistance and support for parents or caregivers.
  • Facilitate access to mental health services and resources
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify strengths and needs, devising personalized service plans to promote stability and recovery.
  • Engage in proactive problem-solving and advocacy on behalf of consumers, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
  • Collaborate closely with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote holistic well-being.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma and 12 semester credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other social science and two years' experience in direct contact with mental health consumers;
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, other related social sciences, criminal justice, theology, nursing, counseling, or education;
    OR
  • A registered nurse;
  • Must possess a valid PA Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
  • Experience with seriously mentally ill persons is preferred
  • Prior experience with children and adolescents is a plus
