Hitachi Energy is seeking a Quality intern for its Mount Pleasant, PA location.

• Follow safe work practices, comply with policies and procedures, proper and safe use of equipment and tools, and identify and report unsafe working conditions.
• Perform data gathering and compilation to aid problem solving by engineers.
• Aid Engineers in the development of process flow charts, and MSA throughout the manufacturing process and audit to ensure effectiveness.
• Participate with Quality Engineers in root cause investigations and analysis other duties as necessary, required and/or assigned.

• Some training in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Ability to use MS Office 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of statistics.
• Previous exposure to electromechanical drawings a plus.
• Ability to learn and improve manufacturing/quality methods and procedures.
• Self-motivated to work independently in a busy environment.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
