Primary Function:

Provides psychological services and education to patients with acquired brain injury and their families.

This includes education and intervention regarding psychological status of patients, and creates interventions and strategies for psychological deficits and emotional dysregulation for persons with cognitive impairments.

This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) adolescent, young, old, and older adults and frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. (Statement must be included for all positions that require regular patient contact)

Education/Training/Experience:

Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or equivalent degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in rehab psychology preferred. Three or more years of clinical experience.Clinical experience with emotional regulation techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania (required)

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
