Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for: The treatment, care, education and management of patients with abnormalities associated with breathing related sleep disorders. Provision, set-up, and supervision of the equipment necessary to provide this care. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s): pediatric through frail elderly, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.. If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately: AA/AS degree required. Graduate of a Sleep program. Minimum of one (1) year of sleep diagnostic testing as a sleep lab technician.. Good communication skills required. Good public relations skills required. Good clinical skills required. Sound clinical judgment required. Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or accepted to sit for the registry examination OrEnrolled in; or have completed the A-STEP Online self-study Modules OrBe enrolled in; or have completed a CAAHEP accredited sleep technology training program; or electroneurodiagnostic (END) program; or respiratory therapy add-on track for sleep technology
