The Senior Director of Finance Operations of Rentokil-Terminix is the leader of the team of Finance Operations Directors who are the primary financial partners to our Market Vice Presidents, setting financial goals and strategies across the market/business. This position is accountable for the Director Finance Operations team who are responsible for financial planning and management, providing business insight and recommendations to drive achievement of the market business plans, maximizing their return on net assets, and ensuring proper internal controls and procedures are established and followed. This role will be a key business partner to our US Pest President and Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Directly manage, coach and develop the Director of Finance Operations team for our 7 US Pest Markets (additional markets/businesses TBD) Support the development of the annual strategic and financial business plans in collaboration with the federated leadership team, ensuring they are focused on achieving revenue growth, profit targets and operational efficiency while ensuring the linkage between the plan and longer-term growth goals. Oversee financial and profit results, including revenue, profit and expense trends, with the market/business's federated leadership team and make recommendations for corrective action to mitigate variances from the plan. Communicates any material change to the forecast/budget as informed by DFO team to ensure alignment to targets across the broader organization. Oversee acquisition business cases, due diligence procedures on acquisition candidates, integration of acquired companies, and performance against the business case. Lead the finance workstream for new strategic initiatives, product pipelines, financing transactions, and technology initiatives. Support the team in the analysis and improvement of business processes to ensure an effective control environment and adherence to financial policies, procedures, and limits of authority. Work closely with team to identify potential process improvements and capabilities to increase consistency, transparency, and reliability of Rentokil-Terminix's reporting process Oversees the review of gross margins and proposes/implements opportunities for improvement in partnership with DFO team. Ad hoc analysis. As the business changes and grows, the Senior Director of Finance Operations will be required to financially evaluate new initiatives. Provide guidance and recommendations of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal/state/provincial law and company business philosophy Oversees the security and integrity of Rentokil-Terminix's financial information Assist with Internal and External Audits to ensure compliance with internal controls. What do you need? Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent relevant experience - MBA in finance, accounting or related field - preferred Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP - preferred Anaplan Budgeting/Forecasting - preferred Cognos - preferred 15+ years of experience in progressive financial leadership 5+ years relevant experience in a management role Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all financial related decisions. Strong abilities in effective solutions to various operational and financial matters. Thrive in a fast paced and changing environment while maintaining focus on delivering repeatable, reliable solutions with flawless execution and superior customer service. Ability to work independently, setting own priorities and objectives with leadership support. Skilled at focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, identifying next steps, and effectively meeting deadlines and achieving desired results. Ability to maintain highly confidential information. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
