As a Sr. Operator I supporting Manufacturing, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery/equipment in the Phaco Department at Sinking Spring, PA.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Perform a variety of repetitive, manual assembly operations to exacting standards.
- Complete the batch records and associated documentation
- Operate manufacturing equipment that may require performing visual and dimensional inspection of product, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining consumable tooling in equipment
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust manufacturing equipment to maximize quality and efficiency
- Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: 10:30pm – 6:30am
- Travel Requirements: Minimal, Between Sites
