We have an opening for a Clinical Services Specialist position in the Delaware County area. The Clinical Services Specialist facilitates participant assessment, habilitation planning, counseling and implementation of psychosexual services for adults with co-occurring intellectual disability and mental illness. This position functions as key liaison between Developmental Services and Behavioral Health Services, and also external providers.
- Trains and supports staff in recovery oriented services with emphasis on substance abuse issues.
- Ensures compliance with all funding source regulations and Agency policies and procedures.
- Participates in the analysis and identification of service delivery gaps, changes and problems under the guidance of the supervisor and implement appropriate action plans with Division staff.
- Develops and assists with the preparation and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Provides expertise and training to program staff in the area of substance abuse.
- Provides clinical assessment and consultation to staff and clients regarding client goals and follow-up.
