Summary of Objective:

As an Operator III, you will become an integral part of PCI Pharma Services company operations by strengthening our business' efficiency, timeliness and commitment to service. Operator III's are essential to the daily operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and handling equipment, in a safe and efficient matter. You will assist with room activities as needed and maintain and stock components necessary to ensure production room lines are not stalled or waiting on components. You will safely move and transport materials in various locations to include -20 and -40 conditions. You routinely coordinate with the warehouse (WH) to maximize efficiency. You are detailed oriented and able to follow all that is required for every assigned work order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Monitor the fill operation. Assist line personnel as needed. Understands and performs the start-up operation and shutdown procedures for each piece of equipment as assigned. Cleans equipment and change part tooling as required. Exhibits competency and flexibility to work in different rooms as assigned. Wears appropriate PPE and abides by all safety procedures and precautions relating to operating machinery and room / area requirements Performs room pre-filter changes during product changeovers or as needed. Must demonstrate ability to transport items safely and efficiently for both QA and Production Coordinators. Must demonstrate competency to accurately complete move transactions Move components to and from warehouse locations as needed in a safe and efficient matter. Must demonstrate willingness and ability to safely and efficiently access and transport -20 and -40 conditioned material to and from the warehouse storage area. Keeps assigned production room staging areas safe, neat, and orderly. Anticipate and maintain adequate level of components for assigned room(s) to ensure line does not have to pause due to lack of materials. Remove finished goods, components, scrap pallets, and empty bulk drums from rooms as needed. Perform foil, labels, banding material changes. Perform minor machine adjustments. Perform minor changeovers Clean Ink Pans Performs weekly preventive maintenance Works with mechanical resources

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.
  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.
  • Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
