Position Overview

C&S is seeking to fill the position of Asst. Grants Administrator in either our Syracuse or Philadelphia offices. The candidate will work directly with clients to assist in the daily execution and oversight of their Civil Rights programs including their Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), and Title VI programs. The candidate will serve as a link between our clients and the FAA Office of Civil Rights. In addition, this candidate will perform a variety of office activities and is an essential contributor to maintaining workflow & quality processes.

*If position out of the Philadelphia office, expectation for monthly company paid travel for training in Syracuse.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordination with and liaison to FAA Office of Civil Rights, clients and Project Managers on compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring DBE and ACDBE Achievements.
  • Engage in Triennial Goal Setting for both DBE and ACDBE.
  • Utilize State and federal data banks to obtain required information to fulfill reporting requirements
  • Carry out virtual and in-person consultation sessions.
  • Reviews RFP, RFQ's, and Contracts to ensure compliance with sponsors plan.
  • Evaluate bids and proposals to confirm adherence to DBE / ACDBE participation requirements.
  • Develop, update, and assess sponsors' DBE/ACDBE plans following federal and state regulations and sponsor policies.
  • Aid in developing airport-specific Title VI and Community Participation Plans.
  • Input data and reports to the FAA Civil Rights Connect System.
  • Minimal travel to client locations or conferences
  • Attend annual trainings to keep updated on federal regulations and best practices.
  • Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
  • Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified.

Skills/Education/Experience

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience with a focus on regulatory compliance. (2+ years of construction or aviation experience preferred)
  • Associate degree (Business or related field) or appropriate combination of education & experience required.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Experience with quality assurance
  • Proficient in data interpretation
  • Must have working software knowledge associated with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to meet departmental staff needs while managing multiple priorities & initiatives.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage a variety of business and vendor resources.
  • Ability to meet administrative milestones, deadlines and budget.
  • Must be approachable, respectful, friendly and willing to make every effort needed for department members at all times.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently

Estimated Compensation Range: $55,000 -$75,000/year*
