Job Description

As a Junior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of diverse investment portfolios across global markets. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in macroeconomic analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What you will do:

  • Portfolio Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the performance of existing portfolios, track key metrics, and contribute to periodic performance reviews and reports.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist in assessing and managing portfolio risk exposures through scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Trade Execution: Assist in executing and booking of trades. Coordinate with senior traders and counterparties to ensure timely and efficient execution of investment strategies.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources including financial databases, economic reports, and market research tools to identify investment opportunities and risks.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on global macroeconomic trends, geopolitical events, and financial markets to generate actionable insights for portfolio decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior analysts, portfolio managers, and other team members to contribute to investment strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Presentation: Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports summarizing research findings, investment recommendations, and portfolio performance for internal stakeholders.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, mathematics, statistics, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, statistical software (e.g., R, Python), and financial modeling techniques.
  • Solid understanding of macroeconomics, financial markets, and investment principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Team player.
