Business Support Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and organizes internal and external visitor events at the Etna facility by developing & managing agendas, tailoring messaging and managing logistics as required
  • Manages local implementation of Westinghouse and business unit functional processes such as facilities, security and real estate and ensures smooth functioning of site operations including being the point of contact for local issue resolution.
  • Manage eVinci business unit collaboration tools including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc. Ensure security, access, integrity and confidentiality of data including applicable export controls.
  • Lead conference planning activities such as recommend sponsorships, attendance, attendees and speakers for conferences attended by business leaders to ensure maximum impact and value for eVinci product, recommending booth designs, placement, and messaging. Plan offsite events in conjunction with conferences as applicable.
  • Produces commercial information on required schedule by compiling, reviewing and analyzing standard and ad hoc reports; summarizing information; identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement. Examples include monthly compilation of competitor information, quarterly market trends from internal and public databases regarding electricity cost.
  • Manages Commercial Operations marketing material, including print material, reactor models, and giveaways to ensure sufficient quality and quantity of materials are available and in place as needed. Audits written material to ensure relevance. Execute shipment and return of materials to conferences and other offsite events.
  • Research and summarize commercial information with supporting data in preparation for meetings, work projects, reports and budgets. Typical research may include collection of publicly available data on customers, partners, business processes, templates and software tools.
  • Manage facility budget and activities committee budget for commercial team leadership. Assist in the development and planning for future budget in coordination with annual cycle. Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and flow of work across facilities where eVinci work is performed
  • Training coordinator responsible for the Etna facility supporting all functional groups

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

  • Associate Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 4-5 years of experience (previous Westinghouse experience preferred)

  • Communicate effectively to relevant personnel via oral, written and visual media using the most effective and applicable equipment, software, and/or systems as required.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in internet navigation for information and data gathering

  • Demonstrated proficiency in learning software tools utilized by the daily business

  • High level interpersonal skills, poise, tact and diplomacy required to handle sensitive and stressful situations

  • Apply proficient knowledge of policies and procedures of eVinci Technologies and Westinghouse

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - able to identify and capitalize on opportunities, change course when needed, and create an environment to consistently learn and improve
