Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Program Lead. As the lead of our cyber threat intelligence program, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our threat intelligence capabilities. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the cyber threat intelligence program, including defining objectives, strategies, roadmap, and tactics to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats
  • Utilize your expertise in intelligence and threat hunting to proactively identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to our organization's assets and infrastructure
  • Track and update the organization's priority intelligence requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security operations, incident response, and IT teams, to integrate threat intelligence into security processes and systems
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to enhance detection capabilities and improve response strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external threat intelligence sources, industry partners, and information sharing communities to stay abreast of the latest threats and trends
  • Design and enhance threat intelligence products to meet stakeholder needs
  • Create and deliver threat intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations with regular cadence to technical, business, and executive stakeholders, translating complex technical information into actionable insights
  • Act as a key member of the team during incident responses activities and analysis
  • Provide support and advice on security, privacy, and other matters to internal and external counsel, when appropriate
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development in the field of cyber threat intelligence
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to advanced cyber intelligence workflows
  • Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and techniques in threat intelligence, and drive innovation and improvement within the program

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Master's degree or advanced security certification is desirable (e.g. CISSP, CEH, CISM, SANS)
  • 6+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, including hands-on experience in intelligence analysis and threat hunting
  • 3+ years of managerial / leadership experience leading teams in threat intelligence and threat hunting
  • A broad background in information security with experience in security operations, vulnerabilities and exploitation, network security, and cloud security
  • Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate emerging risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to technical, business, and executive audiences
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms, tools, and technologies, such as SIEM, threat feeds, and threat intelligence platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience supporting incident response and/or investigations
  • Active participation in information security industry forums or other information security leadership organizations

  • Strong knowledge of the intelligence lifecycle
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience with analytical tradecraft
  • Empowered to own transformational security initiatives that impact diverse teams
  • Make tactical or operational decisions that impact the department or site to which work assignments relate. Consider the complexity of technical or procedural challenges and the potential outcomes, ensuring management is appropriately informed.
  • Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing. Quickly escalate customer satisfaction concerns to management but does so with recommended approaches to addressing the concerns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Understanding of security principles, application security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), control frameworks (NIST), threat modeling, and security risks as they apply to on-prem and cloud solutions
  • Ability to develop business focused strategy outcomes that articulate service direction
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills

Travel: <10%

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to
be located in Colorado. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $108,000 - $156,000

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, NJ Remote, NY Remote, or Washington. Base pay may vary based on location and
other factors.

Base Pay Range: $123,000 - $176,000

This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation. The position is also eligible for long-term incentive.
