Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
  • PhD in Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, or Epidemiology
  • Certifications and/or other education in leadership, healthcare administration and/or business administration
Experience Required
  • 10 years' experience in healthcare, social work, implementation, and evaluation
  • 10 years' experience leading multi-organizational, multi-locational diverse teams
  • 5 years' Experience leading sexual health interventions
  • Experience with directing DHHS (CDC, HRSA, SAHMSA etc.) programs
Job Objective
Lead a multi-organizational, multi-locational program for the integration of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) prevention and sexual health resources into Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs for young adults experiencing homelessness and unstable housing.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee the development, implementation, evaluation, training, and packaging of a resource kit to be delivered by HUD case managers. Host virtual meetings with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of HIV Prevention (DHP), and HUD Offices of Community Planning and Development (CPD) and Public and Indian Housing (PIH), and HUD grantees in participating project locations.
  • Submit monthly progress and final reports.
  • Make presentations to the CDC Contracting Office Representative (COR), CDC DHP project staff, and HUD CPD and PIH project staff on the content of the final report that includes evaluation results, outcomes achieved, recommendations for dissemination, challenges and successes.
  • Establish and convene a Project Advisory Board (PAB) and Youth Action Boards (YABs) in collaboration with the Director of Strategic Engagements.
  • In each project location, work with HUD grantees to identify an individual to serve as a Project Champion to ensure fidelity to the project, and address challenges in real time on site.
  • Support the development and oversight of a Community Engagement Plan (CEP).
  • Support the development and oversight of incentives for participating team members.
  • Answer questions, solicit input, and discuss concerns or ideas for project methods and approach.
  • Ensure community commitment and buy-in, and cooperation in project activities, discuss concerns regarding privacy, etc.
  • Oversee the roles and responsibilities of all project partners.
  • Oversee the development and execution of MOAs/MOUs between the HUD grantees and clinicians and other providers, and data sharing agreement expectations between the Contractor and HUD grantees.
Education & Certification
  • PhD in Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, or Epidemiology
  • Certifications and/or other education in leadership, healthcare administration and/or business administration
Work Location
Remote. Some travel required within U.S. site locations to be determined by the CDC and HUD.
