SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for supervising client activity and ensuring that any supportive visitation
services provided are supervised per the guidelines provided through Children and Youth services to
ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children involved.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use

TRAVEL
This position requires daily travel and the majority of work time is spent in the community or client
homes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
*
Minimum of Bachelor's degree preferably in psychology, child development, family studies, or other
related field or
Associates degree in related field with at least 2 years' experience working with children and
families.
*
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
*
Experience working with directly with children and families, providing services involving case
management, knowledge of child development, motivational interviewing techniques, and family
systems preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid PA driver's license

QUALIFICATIONS
*
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to implement plans established for families
and relate to individuals in a positive and empathetic manner. Ability to supervise visits and respect
parent rights. Ability to read, understand, and abide by all policies and procedures for agency and
program.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as simple addition and time keeping. Ability to
read medication logs and medication labels to ensure resident adherence to prescribed medications.
