Fiscal Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the billing, payment and receipt of funds to/from funding sources
  • Monitor the billing and payment of:-Vendor Files (bill paying system)-Reconciliation files (e.g. petty cash)-Payroll
  • Assist in preparing yearly budget
  • Prepare and monitor monthly summaries
  • Monitor staff hours to assure all Federal Wage and Hours Laws are being followed, review staff time sheets to assure proper completion, and monitor program staff timesheets are completed properly
  • Serve as primary approver for corporate credit cards of program staff
  • Participate in yearly program budget process


Program Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor each employee's job performance
  • Complete probationary and yearly employee evaluations
  • Documents supervisory sessions
  • Maintain policy manual in accordance with RHD, funding and regulatory requirements
  • Serves as liaison with consulting psychiatrist
  • Outreach:
  1. Review referrals
  2. Attend designated interagency meetings
  3. Establish and maintain contact with various social services agencies
  4. Act as liaison to government regulatory bodies
  5. Provide Outreach-Attend or assign attendance to interagency meetings-Provide presentations upon request
  • Responsible for assuring staff coverage always
  • Oversee the EHR system
  • Provide crisis intervention
  • Monitor program to assure Continuous Quality Improvement


Clinical Responsibilities

  • Monitor clinical supervision provided by clinical supervisor
  • Participate in clinical case consultations and treatment planning meetings
  • Participate in client staffing
  • Complete or monitor all client reports required by funding agencies (progress reports, discharge summaries, etc.) and transmit to appropriate agency(s)
  1. Monitor and support the implementation and maintenance of the program
  2. Periodic review of the clinical program and clinical chart review


Other Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for cell phone as assigned
  • As indicated to ensure continuity of care and foster a supportive nurturing environment for growth


Requirements

Requirements:

* Must have bachelor's degree

* Master's in Social Work or another related human services field is preferred

* Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience

* Certified Peer Specialist and/or Recovery Specialist is preferred

* Minimum of 2 years of Peer involvement experience

* Knowledge of recovery principles and tools

* Knowledge of WRAP

* Ability to Utilize RHD values when supervising staff

* Excellent written and verbal skills

* Ability to role model recovery, hope, and leadership skills


United Peers is a recovery center for people with MH/Co-Occurring disorders who want to enrich their lives through wellness workshops and educational groups and sessions. United Peers assists persons in recovery as they work to live as independently as possible through the provision of training and assistance with the skills of community living and by serving as an integrating source for a person's recovery. United Peers was created by people in recovery and it is staffed by Certified Peer Specialists who demonstrate/model recovery through education and their own lived experiences.
