As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will provide product, guidance, and support to existing retailers while actively working with them to increase their sales. You will also use your sales skills to recruit new retailers, educate them on the benefits of joining our retailer network, and provide strategies that will help them succeed. As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will be required to navigate a web-based portal and be PC and iPad proficient, read and interpret sales data, as well as communicate effectively with business owners and customers the value of Lottery products, and detailed information about procedures and the products. You will have the opportunity to interact and engage players at retailer events, work with other sales representatives at retailer events and, when necessary, while conducting normal business, lift or carry up to 40 lbs., work overtime on a limited basis, and work or drive in all types of weather conditions.
This position is home headquartered, and you will be expected to report to your area office on a weekly basis.
There may be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 am to 7:30 pm for one week to maintain operational efficiency and maximize service to the Lottery and the public.
