Casework is comprised of two distinct roles: Investigating allegations of abuse and neglect and ongoing support for children and families. Every day presents different challenges which may include investigating allegations of abuse or neglect, working with school partners to remedy truancy, collaborating with mental health providers to serve the needs of children and families, or testifying in court to support and protect children from suspected abuse or neglect. Casework requires face to face contact with children and families.
Each year of employment counts towards Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
