JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist with a focus on content development and thought leadership to join our team and help us share our mission with the world. The Senior Marketing Specialist - Content will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand image, increasing our visibility, and engaging our audience through targeted content development and communication strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develops on-brand, interesting, relevant, and timely content in support of each of PRI brands and programs.
  • Manages communications calendar and coordinates communication efforts with other subsidiaries / business units to increase transparency across the business group.
  • Develops and writes marketing copy such as brochures, bulletins, newsletter articles, letters, flyers, email, and any other messaging.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to integrate technical information into marketing content.
  • Independently creates, proofreads, and edits copy for various online and offline marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
  • Proactively develops content and coordinates campaigns across multiple digital platforms, including web, social media marketing platforms, blogs, and public relations efforts.
  • In support of lead generation efforts, collaborate with program leads to deliver an engaging narrative and creative content that includes: webinars, interactive infographic and presentations, video and podcasts, and sales/events collateral. Tracks results via standard metrics and implements improvements.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing Specialist to align program goals in the development of engaging and compelling content that supports customer, member and prospect needs feeding the integrated communications plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business or related field and/or professional qualification(s)
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or advertising, including copywriting experience
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products is required
  • Experience working with marketing technology and automation tools such as or Marketo/Engage a plus
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments desired
  • Experience managing agency relations and working with external stakeholders a plus
  • SEO writing Experience a plus
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, communication, and visual intelligence skills required
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to run analysis and campaign performance using a variety of tools including Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Ability to develop and write content including ad and marketing copy such as brochures, bulletins, newsletter articles, letters, and flyers

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Ability to work for long periods at a computer/desk
  • Standard office environment
