We are currently seeking a Corporate Trust Manager to join our team.

The role of the Corporate Trust Department:

Corporate Trust provides trust services to a myriad of debt issuing authorities, including municipalities, government agencies, and corporations. We act as an independent Trustee, Escrow Agent, and Custodian to help secure proceeds and safekeeping of company assets in highly complex municipal bond transactions and third-party escrows.

Our Corporate Trust department utilizes a unique Single Point of Contact service delivery model which provides our clients with one local, accessible, and convenient Account Manager to oversee all aspects of the transaction from account opening, to document review, to account administration of cash movement and compliance processing. These important factors, combined with our state-of-the-art technological tools, allow us to be flexible and responsive to the ever-changing needs of our customers. You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Manages the activities of trust administrators and support staff.
  • Negotiates and provides expertise with the most complex bond issues and escrows.
  • Ensures compliance and consistency with needs of issuers, the company and bondholders.
  • Ensures quality service, effective and efficient operations support for all internal and external customers.
  • Oversees all applicable policies, procedures and systems.
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with affiliates, staff, and clients.
  • Ensure staff is trained and meets performance standards.
  • Develop new business with new and existing relationships and centers of influence by attending conferences, board meetings, and industry events.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure the success and profitability of the team and the bank.

Who should apply?

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field and 8+ yrs of banking, financial services, corporate trust administration or other directly related experience.
  • Managerial experience required. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of bonds, escrows, corporate trust administration, regulations of specific trust areas and auditing procedures.
  • Strong analysis, problem resolution, decision making and management skills.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skill, both verbal and written.
  • Strong client service delivery background.
  • Ability to manage risk within the area of responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize workflow.
  • Ability to work with various levels within the organization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word and Excel.
