Position Summary & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Associate Director Facility Operations & Maintenance, the Maintenance Planner & Scheduler will be responsible for planning all preventative maintenance and calibration activities for the Resilience Philadelphia location. These activities will be aligned with manufacturing activities and supply chain partners in order to ensure production and lab equipment uptime. In addition, this role will schedule both internal and external resources while identifying areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be an experienced facility management team member with demonstrated success in supporting GxP operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize the existing computerized maintenance management system to develop and publish periodic schedules for both preventative maintenance and calibration work along with responses to on-demand requests.
  • Develop and communicate the facility management work with all IFM teammembers and site operation staff.
  • Coordinate external vendors and align annual service agreements for assets requiring specialized preventative maintenance.
  • Review and develop critical spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock for all periodic work.
  • Maintain CMMS database and equipment asset records including secondary review of GxP work events.
  • Uncrating and preparation of benchtop equipment for installation in a GxP space.
  • Develop and publish facility management performance metrics, create purchase order requisitions and review compliance checklists.
  • Co-develop and maintain a functional area budget including all 3rd party expenses and opportunities.
  • Ensure all PM work is aligned with site EHS as required based on safety and compliance policies.
  • Review, create, or update work plans as needed.
  • Manage contract service providers; including scheduling, training on required SOPs, coordination of all work, and ensuring documentation is performed in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Lead Planning and Scheduling meeting with internal customers.
  • Prepare job kits for maintenance activities.
  • Additional responsibilities as defined.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office suite
  • Prior Experience at a GMP manufacturing site


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience with Blue Mountain RAM or Maximo CMMS.
  • Experience in a Planning or Scheduling role
  • Ability to develop and analyze data to improve department performance
  • CMP or FMA certification a plus.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (General Industry or Construction)
  • Demonstrated equipment troubleshooting expertise
  • Prior experience with GMP site development and start-up.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative small company environment, working with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
  • Exceptional leadership, customer service, relationship building and communication skills.


This position may also include the following conditions:
1. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

2. Must be able to work in a controlled or clean room environment requiring special gowning.

3. Must have the ability to work safely and conscientiously in a manufacturing environment.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
