The NMRL/WHPRC is a state-of-the-science laboratory encompassing 11,600 square feet of space and features state-of-the-science capabilities in exercise physiology, bone adaptation, and morphology (HRpQCT and DEXA), exercise biochemistry, strength, and performance assessments. The mission of the NMRL/WHPR is to mitigate musculoskeletal injuries and optimize human performance by conducting innovative, multi-disciplinary, basic, and applied research providing evidence and translating scientific knowledge, enhancing clinical decisions and education. The Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition is seeking an experienced and qualified Program Manager to work in a dynamic and highly operational environment with particular expertise in managing Department of Defense focused research. The Program Manager will be expected to work across multiple studies, which will include interfacing with collaborators, stakeholders, and as well as training and managing research assistant staff. Provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects. Analyzes progress and/or performance and prepares reports. Ensures compliance with budget, scope, timeline, and regulations. Assists with external communications.
