This is advanced supervisory human resource work in employee relations with responsibility for ensuring that, through the actions of subordinate staff, all aspects of the employee relations program are properly administered for the Department of Health, to also include Workplace Violence (WPV), Workplace Safety (WS), Unemployment Compensation (UC), and the State Employees Assistance Program (SEAP).
You will have the opportunity to manage the relationship with the Department of Health, represent the agency in negotiations, and administer and implement the provisions of collective bargaining agreements. You will be responsible for supervising subordinate professional management staff, establishing job standards and objectives, monitoring staff performance, and preparing performance evaluations.
