Responsibilities

Roxbury is currently hiring a Director of Business Development to oversee our marketing department.

The Director of Business Development is a member of Roxbury's Management Team and is responsible for developing and managing systems to meet the census, payor, and market-driven program development for the hospital. The DBD oversees all marketing personnel, assessing their productivity; strategically plans all marketing activities and contacts; creates and implements the Marketing and Business Plan; and oversees an Account Management system. The DBD is responsible for development and management of all advertising, marketing communications and public relations for Roxbury. He/she maintains and manages his/her own accounts. Other responsibilities include assisting with all contract negotiations with Payors, seeking out new payor sources and other new business development opportunities for the facility, completion of contracting materials, and maintenance of all contracts. Works closely with other Managers and supports the Director of Intake in developing effective policies and procedures within that department and facilitates ongoing communication between Intake and Marketing.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 40 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications

Director of Business Development Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors degree human relations field and/or marketing/business management required. Masters preferred.

Experience:

Three years Marketing experience within a behavioral healthcare setting, preferred. Prior referral development, strategic planning, systems development, and staff management experience, preferred. Experience with maintaining information systems related to marketing. Prior experience in developing advertisements, planning events, and public relations. Prior experience with contracting, preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver's License

Knowledge:

Prefer knowledge of the South Central Pennsylvania behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency diagnoses & symptom logy, age specific programming. Ability to communicate verbally, telephonically, and in writing. Working knowledge of computer systems using various software. Knowledge and comprehension of regulatory agency standards (DOH, DPW, CMS, Joint Commission).
