As a Wildlife Biologist 2, you will work statewide in an office and field capacity within the Wildlife Health Division of the Bureau of Wildlife Management to fulfill the objectives of the Pennsylvania Game Commission's Wildlife Health Program. Work includes serving as project lead or assistant to the Wildlife Veterinarian for the agency's Wildlife Health Program activities and in direct support of all statewide agency activities that involve wildlife health, wildlife capture or handling, or biological specimen collection from wildlife. You will be responsible for providing direct technical field support to agency personnel, managing supply inventory and procurement, coordinating the agency's wildlife database, and handling wildlife health inquiries from agency staff or external partners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Wildlife Futures Program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine as well as program activities to fulfill Wildlife Health Program objectives.
