About this role
As a Medical Assistant, you will complete all steps in the medication prior authorization process monitoring the Medication Line to triage and resolve all concerns. You will contact pharmacies to authorize medications under the direct order of an agency physician prescriber. Coordinate care between clients, physicians, all staff, pharmacies, laboratories, urgent care/hospitals, and primary care physicians regarding client medical or psychiatric symptoms. Collect vitals and assessment/triage of clients with observed or reported medical issues.
