DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be working on review and verification, estimation and analysis, as well as general administrative duties within the Outreach Training Division. You will have the opportunity to participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences for the purpose of coordinating activities related to assigned tasks, obtaining training, and providing information to data users. You will be expected to maintain an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, ACESweb, Quest, UCMS and SOII system. Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, validating, and analyzing data
  • Extracting data from enterprise systems to integrate into other systems, create reports, compare results, and/or draw statistical samples
  • Utilizing statistical, spreadsheet, and relational database software
  • Maintaining databases
  • Preparing descriptive reports or statistical products
  • Providing assistance to customers in understanding and using data
  • Calculating estimates and trend projections

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Work hours are negotiable, based on operational needs.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week, upon successful completion of the probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree that includes or is supplemented by 15 college credits in statistics or courses emphasizing the application of statistical methods; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:
