Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

  • Provide pre-sales technical support during the Dorado upgrade cycle including technical input for Dorado, storage, switches and virtual tape configurations.
  • Assist in providing quotes for the Dorado hardware and software configurations using CPQ
  • Installation of the Dorado Hardware, Brocade Switches and/or Storage configuration.
  • Installation of Dell/EMC's Disk Library for Mainframe (DLm) and DSI's Virtual Tape Library.
  • Experience performing Hardware Plateau Updates for Dorado Platforms including updating server firmware and network switches that are located in the Dorado cabinet.
  • Installation of ePortal
  • Experience with the installation of QProcessor Appliances on Dorado systems is a plus.
  • Installation and configuration of ePortal solutions.
  • Experience in setting up Dorado system software and migrating software to a new Dorado
  • Upgrading system software to new releases.
  • Ability to mentor others.
  • Ability to work alone and within a team for projects.
  • Travel 50%-75%

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Minimum of 5 years' experience including relevant technical expertise

* Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in the OS2200 Platform

* Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices

* Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions

* Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

* Experience working on a project team

* Experience with OS 2200 Administration

* Experience with OS 2200 Database Administration is a plus

* Experience with OS 2200 Storage Configuration is a plus
