Accounts Payable Clerk

ATS Scientific Productsisexpanding our team and have immediate opening for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Associate in our Warminster, PA location!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter invoices into the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepares AP payments wires ACHs checks
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Answers all vendor inquiries by phone or email
  • Prepares analysis of accounts as needed
  • Assists in the monthly close process including reconciling the AP subledger to the general ledger
  • Assists with special projects as needed
  • Develop good relationships with vendors
  • Work with purchasing to straighten out discrepancies in the 3 way match process


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience or combination of education and experience required
  • 3-5 years accounts payable or related work experience required
  • Previous experience with accounting software systems required
  • Must have a general knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices

  • Report defect in any equipment or protective device
  • Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
  • Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
  • Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
  • Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
  • Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
