The Enterprise Application Analyst - Epic Digital Front Door is responsible for the development, support, and ongoing maintenance of applications to which they are assigned along with supporting integrated areas (if applicable). This position will support Digital Front Door initiatives primarily in MyChart and will work closely with our Marketing team and other operational stakeholders. The analyst assists in optimizing workflow processes through building applications that are standardized to meet the health system's needs. The analyst will be required to maintain application certification for the application(s) they support. The position will require strong communication and analytical skills to interpret appropriate clinical and non-clinical requests.

Essential Accountabilities:

* To support new and current project development, including system analysis, planning and preparation.

* To act as the primary resource dedicated to designing, building, testing, and implementation in collaboration with appropriate departments.

* Develop, support, and maintain documentation and procedures as needed. Acts as a resource to coworkers regarding build and workflow in application areas.

* Collaborate with other IT analysts and vendors to identify system optimization and enhancements to design and implement effective solutions.

* Attend meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.

* Travel to various locations, including occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.

* Achieves and maintains certification status in assigned application(s) and working knowledge of other related applications.

* Develop and maintain models and documentation of operations, business and system requirements and configure system accordingly.

* Contribute to preparation of testing scripts and materials and perform unit, system, and integrated testing tasks.

* Provide support and proactive service, by phone and through onsite visits as appropriate, to assess user needs including analysis of opportunities to take advantage of existing workflows and tools.

* Complete project tasks within the defined project deadlines.

* Champion the EHR, provide support in the ongoing implementations, optimizations, and upgrades.

* Participate in the on-call support schedule as defined by the supporting on call policy.

Experience:

* Minimum 2 to 4 years of recent healthcare information systems or clinical / revenue management systems experience.

* Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software products is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in technology, clinical or related field preferred, and/or equivalent experience/training.

Licensures/Certifications:
Current Epic and other application certification(s) and/or appropriate certifications as defined by role (if applicable to application (s) or must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completed testing. Epic experience preferred.
