Project Engineer, Robotics Product Support (Pittsburgh, PA)

What will you be doing?

  • Serve as project engineer/technical lead on Robotics sustaining and OUS registration projects
  • Lead design efforts for Robotics quality improvements, supply chain support, obsolescence related design changes, cost reduction initiatives, regulatory compliance initiatives, and product packaging changes
  • Develop in-depth technical expertise and clinical understanding of the CORI Surgical System
  • Assist in developing input requirements, test plans, procedures, and reports
  • Assist in Robotics system GUI translations and validation testing
  • Provide recommendations on technical literature including users' manual and implant surgical techniques.
  • Coordinate execution of project deliverables from design through manufacturing transfer

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with a mechanical focus
  • 3+ years experience in a regulated industry as a design or project engineer
  • Some experience in product design, product development processes, verification and validation testing
  • Excellent communication skills in order to interface with cross functional team members including Manufacturing, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Project Management and Marketing.
