The firm is willing to train and mentor a candidate out of Public with no prior experience running an Accounting Team. This is an outstanding opportunity!
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Large Public Accounting, or mix of public and/private experience
- 4-year degree in Accounting
- Ability and capacity to grow into a Controller role and manage a staff accountant.
- Manage all GL Accounting, Financial Month End close, variance analysis of financial results.
- Manage the AP, AR and Payroll staff for accuracy of content.
- Experience with some form of inventory accounting preferred.
- Manage annual budgets and forecasting.
- Report monthly Variance on actual vs budgeted.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
