We're seeking a future team member for the role of Reserve Management and Short-Term Funding Trader to join our US Funding team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Contribute to a team focusing on the management and monitoring of the Bank's reserve accounts at the Federal Reserve. The role is responsible for ensuring internally and externally imposed risk metrics and requirements are sufficiently met.
  • Projecting funding and liquidity needs on a short-term basis and contribute to the discussion on desk strategy.
  • Engaging with business partners both in Treasury and the lines of business to contribute to a robust forecasting and analysis framework as well as information aggregation.
  • Engage in desk funding activities in wholesale and secured funding markets. Support desk collateral management functions.
  • Coordinate with desk partners in Risk in all aspects of the risk management process, including hosting regularly scheduled dialogues and contributing to the review and challenge framework.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster the development of future business leaders.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in liquidity-related corporate treasury role. Solid understanding of liquidity impacts on a bank's balance sheet within various regulatory and risk related constraints.
  • Knowledgeable on the intricacies of the Federal Reserve settlement and wiring system as well as the mechanics of Federal Reserve accounts.
  • Strong understanding of short-term funding markets and instruments.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting or related required, MBA preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Solid understanding of Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI required. Additional programming skills preferred.
