About The Opportunity
Menasha Packaging is looking for seasonal workers to work during the summer of 2024. This position will assist operators at various machine centers throughout the plant to fill in for people when they are absent. This job entails assisting with the operation of a variety of machines including various types of printing machinery, die cutters, folder-gluers, shipping and receiving, etc.1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and
procedures
2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
3. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting
requirements
4. Hand strip - manual stripping of forms from full sheets of printed product
5. Pack skids - down load folded carton items and pack/load boxes after packaged
6. Periodically perform quality control checks, to ensure product being manufactured complies with the
company's and the client's requirements
7. Kitting and LAMas - assemble point-of-purchase and point-of-sale display kits and systems
8. Load printed items into the front of the folding machine for automated gluing process
9. Assist as a helper on machine as necessary
10. Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
