Job Summary: The Athletics Administrative Coordinator offers central office administration and administrative support to the department's administrative team members.
This position is responsible for contributing to the successful outcome of operational objectives, including organizational effectiveness/communication, travel arrangements and meeting scheduling, answering inquiries, creating and maintaining databases/records, large event planning, and providing administrative support for the Department of Athletics and Recreation.

Job Duties:
Provide administrative support to the Department of Athletics and Recreation. This may include maintaining the Director of Athletics' business calendar, arranging travel, prioritizing and handling mail, and telephone management.
Establishes standards and procedures in support of personnel searches, hiring, onboarding of new staff, and record-keeping.
Supervise other department administrative assistants.
Plan, arrange and organize all aspects of departmental meetings, intra-departmental meetings, external constituent meetings/visits and special events under the direction of the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Administration.
Maintaining office services and efficiency, maintaining office supplies, and assisting with various reporting requirements through correspondence, copying, and mailing.
Performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of administrative related experience.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, phone etiquette, and works well in a fast-paced dynamic atmosphere.
Team-oriented mentality.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues having a range of backgrounds, interests, and perspectives.
Computer and software knowledge including word processing, spreadsheet, email, mail-merge and calendaring applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Demonstrated computer proficiency
Proficient with Microsoft software and calendaring
Planning and organizational skills along with the ability to operate under changing priorities and frequent deadlines
Job Exempt: No Salary Range: 17.16-21.45
The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
