Shift: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist is a critical member of the NMS marketing team. Working with the sales, marketing and product management teams, this position is responsible for executing marketing and lead generation campaigns, supporting sales enablement programs, and supporting revenue growth through thoughtful customer engagement.

This position is responsible for implementing the marketing elements of key strategic and marketing plans using traditional and digital tactics. They are also responsible for tracking results, recommending changes, and implementing updates for improved success.

The Clinical Marketing Specialist is expected to operate in an environment that requires attention to regulatory agency oversight and deadlines.

Requirements:

* BA or BS required.

* 1-3 years of demonstrated Marketing experience in marketing in Clinical Laboratory, In Vitro Diagnostics, Medical Devices/Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or related healthcare segment required.

* Knowledge of laboratory testing in a clinical environment is a plus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Collateral and Email Marketing

o Creates email & campaign calendar in collaboration with the marketing team.

o Authors emails including launch, announcement, lead generation and newsletters using engaging CTAs.

o Pulls email & lead lists in support of email campaigns.

o Sends, tracks and reports result of email marketing programs.

o Creates and manages the review and publication of sell sheets supporting new and updated tests.

o Supports creation of content plans for email marketing campaigns in line with strategic marketing plan

o Provides content for website, collateral, ads, flyers, etc.

o Abides by the correct usage of the NMS Labs brand guidelines.

* Social media

o Working with market leadership, defines a quarterly social media calendar.

o Writes, posts, and tracks social media content.

o Measures results and makes recommendations for changes.

* Tradeshows & Conferences

o Working with the marketing team and trade show coordinator, identify booth, collateral, and giveaway requirements for each trade show.

o Work with marketing leadership, outside designers & vendors to create and produce booth elements.

o Develop and execute follow up programs designed to convert contacts into leads.

* Web Content and Search Engine Optimization

o Works with Marketing leadership to develop content outline for, selects images and creates content for web content and landing pages.

o Assesses web content pages using best practices, web metrics, and SEO metrics tools.

o Recommends refinement and implements changes to improve usability and SEO.

o Provides web editing backup for the Senior Digital Marketing Manager (CMS/Drupal editing)

* Customer Insights and Analytics

o Partners with Product and Marketing Managers to research potential high growth customer segments and call points and establish Voice of Customer "listening" mechanisms.

o Establish a clear understanding of customer journeys, decision making process, personas, and motivations.

* Business Planning & Execution

o Contributes to the development of the overall marketing strategy for Clinical products, services, and other key initiatives.

o Contribute to strategic planning for Clinical Business Unit via inputs on performance of past marketing tactics and through the development of annual product and product area specific marketing plans.

o Partners with Product and Marketing Managers to research potential/high growth customer segments

Knowledge, Skillsn and Abilities:

Understanding of digital, email and marketing sales tools and uses

Customer-centric writing skills

Strong analytical skills to support assessment and continual refinement of marketing programs.

Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM software

Familiarity with Sales Enablement marketing approaches

Demonstrates a sense of urgency with attention to detail.

Strong collaboration skills and willingness to be a vocal contributor to a multifunctional go-to-market team.

Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills

Ability to conceptualize and express unique selling propositions in variety of content.

Knowledge of digital marketing and metrics tracking/development

Physical Demands:

Ability to talk, hear, stand, reach with hands and arms, and use hands and fingers to manipulate instrument/equipment controls, computer keyboard, office equipment, objects, or tools.

Moving from one work location to another to sit and stand, sometimes for extended periods of time.

Vision (with correction) including color, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel up to 10%, primarily domestic, with ability to travel internationally if required.
