Job Description

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American Samoa or other territory owning permanent allegiance to the United States.

The individual possesses strong supervisory skills to oversee and coordinate contractor staff, ensuring effective communication with government entities. They manage the PMA260 SEMS program, acting as a central point of contact and ensuring collaboration between contractor and government. With expertise in Weapons System Maintenance Support, they maintain efficiency, quality, and positive relationships. The role involves directing contractor staff, liaising with government technical and contracting staff, and performing assigned duties with diligence.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for the Contract Manager:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

The Contract Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Ability to supervise, direct, review, and coordinate all work performed by other contractor staff.
  • Ability to maintain effective liaison with Government technical and contracting staff.
  • Alternatively, twenty years' experience in comprehensive Weapons System Maintenance Support or SE Integrated Logistics Management can substitute for the degree and experience requirements (1) and (2) above.
  • PMA260 Support Equipment Management System (SEMS) Program:
  • Provide services to support the PMA260 SEMS program.
  • Oversee and manage the overall coordination of the contract related to SEMS
  • Act as the central point of contact with the government for the SEMS program.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between contractor staff and government entities.
  • Supervise, direct, review, and coordinate all work performed by other contractor staff.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency and quality in the execution of contract responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison with Government technical and contracting staff.
  • Foster positive working relationships to enhance collaboration and project success.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

The Contract Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Arts degree in either an Engineering or Management discipline.
  • Ten years' experience in Aircraft Weapons System Maintenance and Logistics Support.
  • Apply ten years of experience in Aircraft Weapons System Maintenance and Logistics Support to contribute to the success of the SEMS program.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
