Primary Function:
Enhancing patientsrsquo; experience by providing clinical/clerical/technical tasks, in a manner consistent with the Code of Conduct. Focus on patient rooming in the clinic, planning, coordinating, and facilitating of patient care activities for patients under the direction of a Provider. ldquo;Assist the Clinical Assistantrdquo; by answering telephone calls, taking accurate information, and relaying messages appropriately; prep patient charts as needed; verifies insurance, referral, and patient demographic information, collects co-pays, discharges patients, and schedules appointments. Excellent prioritization, decision-making, multi-tasking skills are essential in this key position. Services will be provided to patients of the following age population(s) adolescent to elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
