As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you perform skilled work at the journeyman level in several trades.

Duties include exercising technical independence in determining work methods and procedures by receiving assignments orally or through written instructions, which may be accompanied by sketches or diagrams. Your work includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, plaster, painting, air conditioning, and refrigeration work. You repair and install equipment as needed and repair equipment inside and on grounds to keep the facility operating safely.

• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

• This position requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License that is not currently under suspension.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
