Job Summary:
The Human Resource Administrator works in close partnership with the People Experience Manager. In this position you will implement People Experience, Labor Relations initiatives and strategies to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy. The Aerospace Business Unit is responsible for Aerospace applications with a global responsibility for Sales, Manufacturing, Business development, Product, and Process Development. The Business Unit operates in a large number of countries and markets, all over the world and with a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace industry. Our business is fully customer focused, with products specifically designed for an engine / airframe application and then produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of our Business Unit. In Hanover, PA we produce Rings and Seals for the Aerospace and Industrial markets.

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

  • Support and follow all factory safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Administer various people experience plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain employee handbook, policies, and procedures manual.
  • Process payroll for hourly employees.
  • Submits bi-monthly document to corporate for salaried payroll.
  • Compile and analyze business data for purpose of formulating HR/LR strategies.
  • Maintain working relationship with Union officials.
  • Adhere to terms of labor contract by monitoring day to day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditions.
  • Participate in investigating, answering, and settling grievances.
  • Arrange and schedule grievance hearings between union personnel, supervisor, and the Management team.
  • Monitor new hire probationary period evaluations for timely completion.
  • Monitor progression increases for hourly employees and processes increases in PeopleCore.
  • Create and maintain job bid files for hourly union positions and provides copies of completed files to union leadership.
  • Schedule onboarding for new hires and completes People Experience portion of orientation.
  • Maintain company organization charts.
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Maintain compliance with deferral and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee appreciation events while consulting with People Experience Manager.
  • Treat all employees in professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the role and ITAR Regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, business or related field from an accredited college or university and minimum of 2 years human resources experience.
  • OR Associate Degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 2 years human resources experience.
  • OR A high school diploma or GED and minimum of 5 years of human resources experience may also be considered.
  • Proficient in necessary computer software applications appropriate for the job (e.g. Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office applications etc.
  • Labor relations experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience administering collective bargaining agreements including the grievance/issue resolution procedure through arbitration.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEO, ADA, FLSA, FMLA.

  • Ability to compile and analyze business data for purpose of formulating HR/LR strategies.
  • Experience working with PeopleCore, DayForce, Kronos, Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Publisher.
