Location: Lankenau Medical Center, 100 Lancaster Avenue, Wynnewood, PA 19096

Description: As an Operating Room Nurse, you would provide 1:1 care to our patients before, during, and after surgery at a time when they are most vulnerable. You would work alongside our world-renowned Surgeons to scrub and circulate the many different cases we perform. Specialties include but are not limited to: Trauma, General, Urology, GYN, Orthopedics/Neuro, ENT, Plastics, Reconstructive Surgery, Colorectal, Thoracic, Vascular and Cardiac.

Lankenau Operating Room Highlights:

  • Lankenau is recognized as High Performing in sixteen total specialties, with regards to the OR, they include: Aortic Valve Surgery, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Colon Cancer Surgery, Hip and Knee Replacement, Lung Cancer Surgery, Spinal Fusion, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
  • Our Operating Room features the latest da Vinci Surgical System's robotic technology. We have 5 robots at Lankenau total.
  • Accreditations include: The Society of Thoracic Surgeons in the Highest Quality Tier for Cardiac Surgery, Aetna Institutes of Quality Designation for Spine Surgery, Blue Distinction Centers for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position: Registered Nurse RN - Operating Room
Shift: Per Diem 1 - 16 hours monthly, Per Diem 11 - 24 hours monthly

What We are Looking for:

Experience

  • 1 or more years of Operating Room Nurse experience required.

Education, Licensures & Certifications

  • RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
